After more than 30 years in the green industry and a successful career as a serial entrepreneur, Chad Everett Harris is thrilled to announce the Chad Everett Harris Scholarship, an award that seeks to foster the entrepreneurial spirit.

Geared towards students pursuing business degrees, this scholarship is intended to give promising young entrepreneurs the funds they need to continue developing their skills and pursuing their dreams.


Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Chad Everett Harris asks any young student who is currently studying or plans to study business to reach out and apply.
  • To qualify, applicants must be citizens of either the US or Canada who are either currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a US or Canadian higher education institution. Both colleges and universities are deemed suitable.
  • Ideal applicants will be innovative, driven individuals who feel passionately about entrepreneurship and plan to use it not only to profit, but also to better the world around them.

How to Apply:

Chad Everett Harris’s life has been one of constant change. In learning how to embrace change, he has come to understand that challenging shifts are opportunities rather than obstacles. 

With this key principle in mind, qualifying students wishing to apply should consider the impact and role that change plays in entrepreneurship, especially as it relates to technology. In a 500-word essay, applicants must answer the question,

Welcome To The Wesley Financial Group Scholarship Program

The Wesley Financial Group Scholarship Program is offering five scholarships for college and university students in the U.S. that have lost a parent and are in need of financial assistance. As part of their submissions, applicants must submit a 500-word essay that lists their program of choice, explains what type of career they would like to have in the future, and details how the scholarship funds would help them. The five applicants that submit the most compelling essays will be chosen as the recipients of $2,000 (USD) each.

5 Prizes Worth $2,000 (USD) Each

Five applicants will receive a prize of $2,000 (USD) each for their compelling essay. Applicants must meet all requirements to be considered.

To apply, students must submit an essay listing their program of choice, explaining the type of career they want in the future, and how they’ll use the scholarship prize.

Proof of Enrollment​

This scholarship is open to all college and university programs and years in the U.S., including students applying for their first year. Proof includes student ID card, acceptance letter, and an official enrollment letter.

Essay Response

In 500 words, applicants must list their program of choice, explain what type of career they are working towards, and detail how the scholarship funds would help them. Applicants are encouraged to detail their level of need.

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support deserving candidates in obtaining a college education to help build a better future. This scholarship is open for application to children of current non-Managerial employees of hotels and offices of Hyatt and the Taj group in India currently pursuing a college education in a nationally recognized institution. Full scholarship details:

  1. Proof of parents employment with Hyatt or Taj
  2. Should have secured admission in a college/university in India or be a current student of a college/university in India
  3. 500-word essay… + letter of recommendation from a current teacher or professor
  4. Scholarships are for one year at a time. Candidates will need to reapply every year and will be considered subject to maintaining grades.
  5. Provide proof of annual tuition costs and costs related to accommodation, travel, and books. The scholarship program reserves the right to decide what amount of these total costs will be granted as a scholarship.
  6. Provide a personal bank account for the transfer of scholarship grant

THE JUSTIN GIMELSTOB Scholarship Program

Justin Gimelstob is proud to announce that he is launching a new scholarship program to provide financial support for collegiate student-athletes in North America.

The Justin Gimelstob Scholarship Program will offer three separate scholarships, valued at $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000 USD. Applications are being accepted until April 28, 2020. Winners will be announced on May 5, 2020.

Meet Justin Gimelstob

Justin is an American philanthropist and retired professional tennis player. In January 1995, Justin joined the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) on a tennis scholarship backed by his exceptional athletic achievements. One year after joining UCLA, he turned pro and left to pursue his professional tennis career. After retiring from pro tennis, Justin returned to UCLA where he is currently taking part-time classes majoring in history.

In early 2020, Justin announced his scholarship for student athletes. He knows firsthand and appreciates the challenges student athletes face balancing their athletic and academic goals. This scholarship is Justin’s way of supporting athletes through this difficult yet rewarding time.

Research shows that “cost” (ability to afford a college education) is one of the biggest barriers to obtaining a college degree. Farah and Farah is committed to the communities it serves and proudly pledges to provide 20 students with $5,000 each to achieve their dream of becoming college graduates!

Farah & Farah’s scholarship mission**:**  Serving Others…Inspiring Excellence…Empowering Greatness! Scholarship Awards:

Twenty (20) scholarship awards of $5,000 each will be awarded to current high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college, totaling $100,000.

To be considered for the Empowering Greatness Scholarship, applicants’ permanent address must be in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Farah and Farah employees and their family members are not eligible to participate.

  4. Applicant’s proof of Florida, Georgia or South Carolina residency.
    *Accepted forms of applicant’s proof of residency include: a copy of Drivers License or other Government Issued ID, copy of School ID, mail from school addressed to the applicant at home address.
  5. A letter of recommendation confirming the applicant’s community service activities.
  6. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor or school/college administrator.
  7. All awardees must commit to providing 10 hours of community service per semester, totaling 20 community service hours in the 2020-2021 academic year. Further details on the community service assignment will be provided to scholarship award winners by Farah & Farah.
  8. A one page 500-word essay using the following prompt:
