Robert Davis is happy to announce the second year of his scholarship program for U.S students. The 2020 Robert Davis Scholarship awarded two students, Grace Chen and Derek Webb, with $1,000 USD. “I want to congratulate the successful candidates Grace and Derek. Students wishing to apply for the award must meet the scholarship’s requirements for eligibility. Qualifying applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:

  • Be a student in the United States
  • Be enrolled in or planning to attend either a college or university in the US

  • Submit an original 500-word essay that answers the pivotal question: “What small things can you do every day to make the world a better place than before?”

Welcome To The Wesley Financial Group Scholarship Program

The Wesley Financial Group Scholarship Program is offering five scholarships for college and university students in the U.S. that have lost a parent and are in need of financial assistance. As part of their submissions, applicants must submit a 500-word essay that lists their program of choice, explains what type of career they would like to have in the future, and details how the scholarship funds would help them. The five applicants that submit the most compelling essays will be chosen as the recipients of $2,000 (USD) each.

The Farah and Farah “Empowering Greatness Scholarship” 2020

Research shows that “cost” (ability to afford a college education) is one of the biggest barriers to obtaining a college degree. Farah and Farah is committed to the communities it serves and proudly pledges to provide 20 students with $5,000 each to achieve their dream of becoming college graduates!

Farah & Farah’s scholarship mission**:**  Serving Others…Inspiring Excellence…Empowering Greatness! Scholarship Awards:

Twenty (20) scholarship awards of $5,000 each will be awarded to current high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college, totaling $100,000.

To be considered for the Empowering Greatness Scholarship, applicants’ permanent address must be in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Farah and Farah employees and their family members are not eligible to participate.

  4. Applicant’s proof of Florida, Georgia or South Carolina residency.

  5. A letter of recommendation confirming the applicant’s community service activities.
  6. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor or school/college administrator.
  7. All awardees must commit to providing 10 hours of community service per semester, totaling 20 community service hours in the 2020-2021 academic year. Further details on the community service assignment will be provided to scholarship award winners by Farah & Farah.
  8. A one page 500-word essay using the following prompt:

About Dwayne Harmon 

Marketing Expert Dwayne Harmon began his career working for Sykes Enterprises during the mid to late 1990s. At that time, with the boom in the World Wide Web, Sykes had grown to around 50,000 employees. As their technical trainer, and eventually operations manager, Harmon was responsible for developing teams to provide various types of support for all of the new technology. He managed several teams, including Microsoft Network representatives, who interfaced directly with Microsoft regularly to provide support with their internet services. He also created the Quality Control Department for the MSN account and personally wrote all processes and procedures.

In the mid-2000s, after he moved to Florida, he started getting into digital marketing, managing pay-per-click campaigns, and search engine optimization. He’s managed entire sales funnels for various companies, starting in digital and eventually growing into radio and television marketing. He’s also developed various sales processes to help these companies with lead management, including helping to create the contact management systems needed to handle the lead training.

Dwayne Harmon is the board of directors’ president for the non-profit, PAX’s K9 Cure. He’s involved with several charities in Florida, including Faith For Freedom, a non-profit that provides training and assists previously incarcerated people with transitioning back into society. He was also a former board member of Prisoners of Christ.

This self-declared “car-guy” is a huge outdoorsman. In his free time, Dwayne Harmon likes boating, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoys helping new non-profits get their company off the ground.
